creche_1Luke 18:16-17 But Jesus called the children come to him and said “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I tell you the truth; anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Our Crèche exists to aid in building good foundations for our children during their early years and to reinforce the message ‘Jesus loves us’.

Our aim is to provide a safe and loving environment where parents can leave their children with confidence during the morning service.  We believe parents should model to their children the importance of being part of a Christian community and of regularly worshipping together.

Our Crèche provides children with some 'first steps' in church family life. The morning starts with some free play, either outside in the sandpit, on the bikes or swings, or inside with blocks, dolls or puzzles.  The children will then have some morning tea (a drink and biscuits) and a bible story. Next comes a fun activity that normally relates to the story or to the theme (Christmas, Easter etc).
The Crèche is run in our Ezekiel Kindergarten (enter from the church courtyard).  Start time is 10.50am and runs till the end of service around 12.00 noon. There will normally be someone available from 10.30am and prompt pick up is appreciated.

Are you 'called' to help?
We are always in need of new carers for crèche! If you enjoy working with pre-school aged children and are available for a Sunday crèche shift, we would love to hear from you!  We are also always in need for those to go on an emergency roster (if a workers calls in sick).
