Providing for children's wellbeing is high on our list of priorities as a church. We believe spiritual development of children to be of paramount importance, but remains primarily the responsibility of the child's parent/s. Therefore what we offer is meant to help and support parents rather than replace them in this most important task.
Spotlight We provide children aged 4-12 years old with a high energy children's church every Sunday (except the 1st Sunday of each month, and during school holidays). Spotlight starts at 11am so families can experience some worship together. If you have children of Spotlight age please feel free to make use of this provision for your children. If you are a regular worshipper at MBC, we would appreciate you taking a turn as a class helper one month per year. Please talk with the Spotlight Supervisors about which month you can help. We are keen to help people develop their gifts and talents. If you are motivated to teach children and wish to develop your God-given skills in this manner, please talk with our Spotlight supervisors.
