Chris and Jane and family settled in Morrinsville since 1995. They have 3 teen age and young adult sons; Daniel, Jeremy and Rhys. They arrived without knowing anyone in the district and found in Morrinsville Baptist Church a community that could support them and help them grow in faith together. Jane works part time as a literacy tutor, and Chris as a veterinarian with a local practice. All the family have been involved in the church’s life in some way- the boys in music and youth activities; Jane in creative ministries such as Music and Movement with pre-schoolers and dance and singing; and Chris in Missions, small group leadership and latterly (beginning in March ’09) in church leadership as an elder. Outside of family, work and church life, their energies are directed toward road- and mountain-biking and working around their house and section. |
