Greg and Margaret have been members of MBC for over 33 years with Greg an elder for most of the last 19 years. They count it a privilege and blessing to be part of a fellowship that has aided their growth in God in such large measure. Greg has been on the eldership for 18 years (with a years break in 2001/02) and had various other leadership roles over the years.
His heart is to see people grasp that the principles and ways of God “work” in every-day life and to that end loves to do one to one discipleship with new Christians. Greg and Margaret have 3 adult children. Greg has been an owner-operator dairy farmer in Ngarua since 1990 and still enjoys his job. He also enjoys gardening, tramping and amateur astronomy as well as reading quite widely. Margaret has been a great help to Greg over the years in his leadership roles and has taken a number of leadership roles herself – more latterly with a woman’s small group and co-leading the Women’s Ministry in the church. This is where her passion lies but she has also led the church building committee for the past 7 years and has for many years chaired the Ezekiel Trust Community Ministries. She enjoys gardening, cooking and tramping. |
