MBC is a group of about 200 people from all ages and all walks of life who live or work in and around Morrinsville, New Zealand. Our faith in Jesus Christ is our common bond, and we gather together for lively worship and inspirational teaching on Sundays. We offer a wide range of children's groups that run parallel to our morning worship. We are committed to living by the values and principles taught by Jesus, and we actively promote his Kingdom in our shared life and daily lives. We seek to live in unity with other Christian groups in our area. We are motivated to share the love of God with our town and region through practical demonstrations of kindness and by speaking of the good news of Jesus in a way people can understand and respond to.
We have a team of leaders headed up by our three pastors; Phil Pawley, Alan Davey and Jarrod Hunt, and our three elders; Chris Compton, Murray Edgar and Greg Smith.. (Check out our Leaders' profile page) We have many other competent people who help lead the mosaic of ministries and activities that make up our church’s shared life and mission.
Our worship services each Sunday start at 10.30am at Morrinsville College Hall, Alexandra Ave. All our other activities and evening services are based at our church building at 56-58 Moorhouse Street. We also meet in various homes and locations across the area during the week. Sunday evening services are; ENCOUNTER Praise and prayer for our town starts 6.30pm on the1st Sunday of the month, and GEN21 Youth service starting 6.30pm on 2nd and 4th Sundays.
We welcome you to come and enjoy our hospitality, participate in worship, and experience the presence of God in a fresh and relevant way. |
