Getting blokes to be all that God want's them to be, and getting them mobilized into action - that's the idea behind our Men's ministry. We have several men's Life Groups (small groups that meet mid-week) to help men grow in their faith. We also have special events that men who are are on the fringe of the church family would feel comfortable coming to.These might be a meal, a BBQ breakfast, 10 pin bowling, fishing trips, you name it... We recently started a new activity that involves men meeting for breakfast once a month, having a short time of teaching, and then spending 3 hours working together providing practical help to widows, the elderly, and solo parents; such things as gardening, painting, cleaning.
