A fundraising events team has been appointed and begun to pull together a strategy to raise $120,000 as part of the $1.8mil required for Stage One of the project. Roly, Phil, Rebecca, Carolyn and Howard are NOT responsible to DO all the events, but they will coordinate, facilitate and promote various fundraising activities the church family wishes to undertake. The Team will provide advice about health and safety, guidelines for handling sponsorship money, advertising within the church and coordination of a diary of events. To date we have the following fundraising projects and events in the pipeline or underway: Selling items via Trademe (min sale value of $30) - see Howard Tiddy Favourites Recipe book - see Carolyn Steiner & Diane Pawley Garage Sales - talk with Fundraising Events Team if you want to hold one Various sponsored sporting activities - interested in hosting one? Golf competition - interested in helping organise? Car / Bike Rally - interested in helping organise? Fishing competition - interested in helping organise? Church Ball - interested in helping organise? Best Moustache or beard - interested in helping organise?
